Digital DNA 2017: A Snapshot

Loudmouth's MD Mark Haslam took home the coveted title of 'Business Personality of the Year 2017!

 

 

We're still catching up on ourselves after the excitement of Digital DNA last week. The two day business and technology event saw over 3,000 delegates descend on St Georges Market, Belfast, to attend a multitude of workshops delivered by over 125 industry experts and make valuable business connections.

 

Throughout the event, our team manned a stand offering free AdWords account audits and PPC advice to attending businesses from 25 countries. We also did the rounds with our super popular selfie competition from which three lucky winners bagged themselves a Gear VR or Chromecast!

 

 

On Day One our own Managing Director, Mark, delivered a workshop to a packed out audience in the Marketing Studio. 'Beyond the Click: A New Era of Digital Advertising' took delegates beyond the standard last-click model of conversion attribution to help them gain a more thorough understanding of audience segmentation and the true value of their digital advertising efforts.

 

 

One Day Two, Mark took to the stage for a second time for his Keynote on 'YouTube: Growing Brands in 2017'. This gave delegates an understanding of the various audiences they can reach by advertising on the YouTube platform and the targeting methods available to them. 

 

 

Last, but most certainly not least, our team attended the Digital DNA Awards Ceremony in the coolest venue ever - St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast. This was the first dinner of its type ever hosted within the cathedral - made even more spectacular by some delicious food and a 'garnish your own gin' bar! 

 

 

Best of all, Mark took home the coveted title of 'Business Personality of the Year 2017' - a serious achievement amongst some tough competition but very much deserved!
